Nice hotel in great location! Friendly staff. Only downfall was very small fridge. Nice kitchenette area but the fridge is way too small.

Parking to check in and unload is a hassle. The room was clean with only one exception. There was a dead moth in the bed. The view from the second floor balcony was awesome! It's a terrace with two loungers and a table for four people. The complementary breakfast was amazing! The bar is nice but way too expensive. A beer is $9. The best part of our stay was the mattress. I slept the best ever! I'm still trying to find out the exact mattress so we can purchase for our home. I called the hotel to inquire and the front desk person didn't know but was going to ask and let me know. I've not heard back. I will say that everyone at the front desk lacked the enthusiasm that I'm accustomed to at a Marriott. The staff at breakfast made up for it.

We booked a King Studio a year in advance for the Oceana Air Show. When we checked in, the desk clerk upgraded us to a one bedroom with a large balcony. A great surprise to be able to watch the Blue Angels from chaise lounge chairs watching the beautiful ocean. I could not find the hair dryer in the room. The room had 3 phones but none of them had a dial tone to call the front desk. We called down to the front desk using our cell and asked about a hair dryer. The associate asked for our room number then disconnected the call. No one tried to call us back. On our way to dinner, I stopped at the desk and reported that there was no hair dryer in the room. The associate told me that the hair dryer is in a bag attached to the ironing board. When I got back to the room, I checked and there it was. The color of the bag blended with the ironing board cover. I had hung some jackets up in the closet and never saw the hair dryer. The hotel has been recently renovated. They added a restaurant and bar. The rooms were clean and nice furniture. The king-sized mattress was too soft. The breakfast room was a little congested.

I concur with the review summary that the hotel is in a perfect location in front of the boardwalk with a beautiful view of the ocean. During the Thanksgiving time we stayed there were lots of families with young children who appear to be drawn by the indoor pool. The breakfast is reasonable and the staff are ever courteous

While staying here for a va showcase track meet, we at the beginning were excited to go stay overnight, then after growing tired we decided to go down stairs and grab waters and sodas. We were then greeted with a ride African American individual who persisted at us not being able to by drinks because of the color of skin. We politely were escorted as the security guard agreed we did nothing wrong.

We stayed at this location over July 4. Highly recommended! The rooms are very spacious and offer separate seating area from sleeping area. Beds are very comfy and the view from balcony at the beautiful sunrise is breathtaking!

I arrived around 9pm on a Saturday night for a one night stay. I had a spacious 1 bedroom hotel room. The hotel has a bar/eatery along with indoor pool and fitness center. Parking is complementary. Check in was smooth and easy. Breakfast had a large variety and it was delicious. The only issue I had was that my door wouldn’t close from the outside due to something being wrong with the lock. Maintenance fixed the issue while we were away, thankfully! I liked that the hotel was on the beach and I had a balcony. I would definitely return!

This is our go-to stay at Virginia Beach. The rooms are clean and very spacious. The view is incredible. They provide a very tasty breakfast in the morning. The swimming pool and gym are easy to access. To get to the beach is a short walk. You can access the boardwalk easily. There is also a restaurant and lounge on premises. Parking is located on site.
